MANDARIN BREAKFAST BIRCHER
Ingredients: (makes one portion)
40g rolled oats
100g natural yoghurt
100ml milk (10g milk powder and 100ml water)
100g broken mandarin segments
Mix the oats, yoghurt and milk together in a small bowl, and chill in the fridge overnight to soften the oats.
In the morning, serve with the mandarins on top, and enjoy! A drizzle of honey, if you have it, would be a delicious addition to this one…

Loving this idea! I love the vibrancy of the fruit, I may try this as I always keep a bag of frozen berries in the freezer and tend to have yoghurt and oats knocking about too. Thanks Jack 👌
Mmmmmmm I could eat that at any time it looks so yummy 🙂
Will be trying this (and the other) bircher recipes. It looks lovely, but when it gets warmer. Its definitely hot porridge for me at the moment 🙂
have been having berry bircher almost every day since you posted it… Love it! I always make it the night before to let the oats soak it up, and let the frozen fruit defrost into the oats and yogurt. with mandarins would be delicious, and a nice change. Thanks Jack!!
call this what you want but not bircher. it has nothing to do with that.
Google Bircher muesli and you will find a wide interpretation but generally the common factor is the soaking overnight?
PS I loved the berry Bircher recipe too…..
This has become my favourite weekday breakfast and it’s so easy. Lovely, thanks Jack!
